Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls
Each year the Pro Football Hall of Fame honors a group of inductees meticulously selected by a committee of sports journalists for enshrinement into football’s hall of fame. In 2021 there are two ceremonies. The Class of 2020 Enshrinement Ceremony is Saturday, August 7, followed by the Class of 2021 Enshrinement Ceremony on Sunday, August 8. The annual Hall of Fame Game is earlier in the week on Thursday, August 5, kicking off the 2021 NFL pre-season with the Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Enshrinement Ceremonies and the Hall of Fame Game take place inside Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The stadium and surrounding Hall of Fame Village continue to transform and progress through the second phase of a massive development project. The stadium boasts a new scoreboard in the east end zone, and there is a new Center for Excellence building just outside the west end zone with a video board scrim across its exterior wall facing into the stadium. The developments are one of several undertakings of the Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co. (HOFV). The newly formed public company is a leading sports, entertainment, and media enterprise headquartered in Canton, Ohio.
